LLM Development That Works With Your Data

Somewhere in your business, one of your employees is probably pasting customer emails or contract text into a public chatbot to save an hour. It is understandable, but it is also risky, because nobody has checked where that data goes or whether the answer is right.

PenguinPeak Technologies gives those instincts a safe place to thrive. As an LLM development company serving the US, India, Australia, New Zealand, and Abu Dhabi, we offer language models that run on your approved knowledge base and are validated for use. It can be a staff assistant, a customer-facing interface, or a personal model running on your infrastructure.

The LLM Journey, and Where We Help at Each Stage

Choose

Model selection and benchmarking: we will run comparative benchmarks of commercial vs. open-weight models on your tasks, evaluating their accuracy, speed, cost, and data requirements. LLM consulting and proof of concept: we test an idea on a small scale before you commit, using the same approach as our AI strategy and roadmap service.

Teach

Fine-Tuning and Domain Adaptation: When prompts and retrieval are not enough, we fine-tune the model to your vocabulary and style using parameter-efficient techniques like LoRA. Prompt and context engineering: Prompt, template, and version control engineering for consistent performance. Multilingual tuning: We provide assistants tested in English, Hindi, and Arabic, and you get access to other languages based on your requirements.

Connect

RAG & Enterprise Search: ingestion, embeddings, vector databases, re-ranking, and citations, with respect for access controls. Applications for Web and Mobile Platforms: intelligent assistants inside your Shopify or WordPress websites, as well as for iOS, Android, Flutter, and React Native mobile applications. Agents & Tool Usage: models that call your CRM, calendar, or database to get work done, such as AI agents.

Protect

Before launch, we test the system with the real questions provided by the client and with deliberate attempts to trip it up, so problems show up in testing instead of in front of customers. We also add guardrails that protect by detecting any unsafe, out-of-topic, and unsupported answers. If data needs to remain in-country, we have open-weight models available in your own cloud or infrastructure.

Run

LLMOps and costs: logging, monitoring, caching, model routing, and limiting usage. Upgrading models: retesting and migration when a provider updates or discontinues a model.

What You See at Each Stage

Checkpoint 1: Shortlist of models.

You will be provided with a comparative study of two to four potential models, which have been evaluated using a sample of your tasks. It includes accuracy, response speed, and cost per question, along with hosting options (hosted API, cloud, or on-premises) and each vendor's data management policies. Finally, we conclude with our recommendation and the reasoning behind it. For this, we require a couple of example tasks and data localization requirements.

Checkpoint 2: Test set.

This is a bank of real questions, each paired with an approved answer. It also includes edge cases: questions the system should refuse to answer, as well as subtle wording designed to confuse the computer. You examine and approve the set, which is what “good” means for your business. Then we score the baseline so we can measure all subsequent improvements against a starting score.

Checkpoint 3: Working prototype.

You have a working copy that you can test yourself on your own documents. We develop it in the most straightforward way that gets the job done: prompt, retrieve, and only fine-tune if needed. You also get the test results, an estimate of the running cost per query, and a brief note on where the prototype still falls short.

Checkpoint 4: Solid build.

The prototype turns into production software. The stage provides integration with your systems, permission rules to restrict who can access which document, and guardrails to restrict the output to only what is safe or on-topic. You also receive the feedback on what you tried and what you improved, what it does when it is heavily used (load test), and how it fails gracefully, e.g., by handing a question to someone when it can't answer it.

Checkpoint 5: Live and monitored.

We release in stages, starting with a small group before a wider rollout. You get a dashboard that displays accuracy, response speed, and spend, and alerts you when they go out of sync. Each period, a sample of genuine conversations is read through to the people, as they ask questions that are not in the test set. You also get a handover document for your team to use in the future, and a plan for how to handle model updates when they happen, so you are never surprised by a provider's model update.

What You Need to Have Written Down Before the Construction

  • Success criteria: the questions, accuracy goals, and response speed the system must meet to launch.
  • Data strategy: what information the model can access, where it is located, which users can ask questions on which documents, and what needs to be anonymized.
  • Cost limits: expected use, budget, and limits to avoid any nasty surprises.
  • Exit strategy: an architecture that lets you swap your model and all the assets you’ll hold when you exit.

Use Cases for LLMs by Industry and Geography

  • Banking and insurance. Customer support services handle the same limited number of policies every week—the assistant answers by referring to templates and pointing out the clause relevant to the issue at hand.
  • Legal and professional services. Researching precedent clauses takes associates many hours. A software tool that can search and write is private to the company, can identify relevant texts, and the company retains client data within its ecosystem.
  • Education and training. Inquiries increase during enrollment periods. The assistant answers queries about course information and fees in multiple languages and passes difficult ones to the team.
  • Retail and eCommerce. A list of thousands of products requires uniform descriptions. A model drafts and validates those descriptions according to your company guidelines in your store’s admin area.

What Teams Frequently Ask Before Starting

That depends on the setup, and we put it in writing. With enterprise terms from major providers, data sent through the API is typically not used to train their models, but you should confirm each provider’s current terms. With a private open-weight model inside your own cloud, nothing leaves your environment. We also mask sensitive fields and restrict which documents each user can query.

Almost never. Training from scratch needs enormous data, specialist hardware, and a budget few companies can justify. Adapting an existing model through prompting, retrieval, or fine-tuning delivers strong results for most business tasks at a fraction of the cost. Building from scratch only makes sense for very unusual languages, data types, or sovereignty requirements, and we will tell you plainly if yours is one of those cases.

It happens frequently, and it can affect your test results instantly. We create an abstraction layer so you don’t have to rewrite your application when you switch models, and we don’t forget to re-test your evaluation before you do. When a provider tells you they’re retiring, you receive a migration plan comparing the accuracy and cost before and after; you’ll see the impact firsthand before your users do.

Yes. We integrate through secure APIs into your CRM, ERP, help desk, website, and mobile apps.

A clear task, sample documents or data, and one person who can judge whether answers are right. We handle the rest and tell you if more is needed.
