Shopware is an open-source e-commerce application built on the Symfony framework and licensed under the MIT license, which brands choose when they need flexibility. It manages your inventory, pricing strategy, sales channels, checkout process, and customer accounts from a single interface. Integrated with the rest of your systems, it moves orders seamlessly from the shopping cart to your warehouse and into your accounting without anyone having to key in a single line again. PenguinPeak Technologies makes these connections, tests them with replicas of your live data, and provides the source code and documentation at the end of the job.
Orders, customers, price lists, and inventory flow in both directions between Shopware and SAP, Business Central, NetSuite, Odoo, Acumatica, or Sage, so the warehouse and storefront stay on the same page about inventory.
Sales, returns, gateway fees, and payment summary entries flow into QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, or Wave, so we review the numbers at month-end reconciliation rather than match them.
Customer data, purchase history, and segments flow into HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho CRM so campaigns can be based on customer behavior. This way, our performance marketing team can use this information to support you.
Payment gateways and wallets help capture failures or order-status changes, such as payment capture failures or refunds, and update both sides.
We receive tracking numbers and label details and update the order, and POS sales update the customer record.
The Store API provides a headless API to power a custom frontend or mobile app, and our UI/UX design and Flutter or React Native development teams can leverage it.

Shopware 6 has three APIs, and choosing the wrong one can slow or weaken your connector. Here’s how we break down the work.
Events are just as important as requests. Flow Builder comes free with all Shopware 6 packages, letting you trigger actions when an order is created or marked as paid, but its webhooks are restricted to Evolve and Beyond plans. We work with what is available on Community and Rise plans, using scheduled API reads and little custom code.
Depending on your Shopware version, our strategy for integration changes.
PenguinPeak Technologies is a leading Indian software firm with web development, app development, design, and digital marketing experts in one building, so your integration project will not get stuck in anyone else’s queue. We scope all integrations in writing beforehand and quote a fixed price so that you won’t get last-minute bill surprises. We have a 5.0 rating on Google and 4.8 on Clutch and Trustindex.
Shopware integration connects your shop to your company’s back-office systems using Shopware APIs and events. These could be ERPs, accounting tools, CRM systems, shipping, payments, and marketplace software, among others. This is what you need to achieve: enter one order and see it in all required systems while keeping inventory levels, prices, and the customer database synchronized.
Shopware integrates with most ERPs that offer API or database connectivity, including SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, NetSuite, Odoo, Acumatica, and Sage. Some ERPs come with ready-to-use connectors; others require custom middleware. In either case, we analyze your ERP’s data model and pick the least intrusive approach, supporting all your pricing and inventory logic.
The cost depends on how many systems you integrate, the complexity of the logic between them, and your order volume. A standard connector is the most cost-effective option; a middleware platform incurs a monthly fee, while a custom integration requires higher upfront costs but no additional per-task payments. Another critical factor is Shopware’s cost: from the Rise plan to the Evolve plan. We will give you a firm price after reviewing your systems.
Developing a single connector with predefined fields will take a few weeks, while a multi-system integration with custom pricing and other requirements typically takes a few months. Most of this time will go to data mapping and testing, not programming. We will clarify the timeframe once we analyze your systems.
Not really. Shopware is open source, so you can extend its core and develop custom plugins, which gives it an advantage for ERP, B2B, and multi-warehouse projects. Shopify is faster to set up and has more applications in its marketplace, but deeper customization requires using its API and apps. So, everything depends on your processes, staff, and budget, not the brand. We work with both solutions, so there’s no reason to recommend one over the other.
Yes, thanks to marketplace extensions or custom integration, not just the core. This way, product listings, stock, and orders will be unified in one flow. We treat either Shopware or your ERP system as the source of stock and each marketplace as a sales channel, so you can’t sell the same product twice.
All versions can be integrated via the Admin, Sync, and Store APIs. The only difference is the toolset. Flow Builder is built into all Shopware 6 subscriptions, but the webhooks it uses are only available for Evolve and Beyond subscriptions. Other subscriptions include B2B features and multi-inventory, which affect your ERP data requirements. But even if you use Community or Rise, we can integrate them via scheduled API read requests or an extension, so the subscription doesn’t block integration.
For us, each order is a record with a unique ID, and retried requests update an existing order rather than creating a duplicate. We retry failed sync requests with increasing delays until they reach a review queue, and we alert a specified user. We also run a scheduled task that checks the number of orders in both systems.
