Salesforce continues to function until its information no longer matches reality. A customer the sales department considers active but the finance department has put on hold, or a deal that is already won but no one orders until the next day. Salesforce is a cloud CRM that maintains lead, account, opportunity, and support case information in a single database, and its effectiveness depends on the surrounding systems providing relevant information. PenguinPeak Technologies integrates Salesforce with ERP, accounting, e-commerce, and marketing applications through its REST, Bulk, and event APIs, and we document all fields before migration.
Web forms, ad platforms, chat, and event tools create leads in Salesforce with duplicates caught on arrival and routing rules applied. Our web development team builds the forms, and our digital marketing team ties each lead to its campaign source.
Product catalogs, price lists, and stock from your ERP appear in Salesforce, so a rep never quotes an item you can’t ship or a price finance retired last quarter.
A closed-won opportunity becomes a sales order in NetSuite, SAP, Business Central, Odoo, Acumatica, or Sage. In the other direction, orders from Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, or WooCommerce create or update the account in Salesforce.
Any invoices, payments, or payment holds generated by QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho Books post to the account record, so when you call your customer, you’ll know what they owe.
Support cases, help desk tickets, and subscription billing information link back to that same account. Our AI and machine learning team can do their thing on lead or churn scoring.
We combine Salesforce data with finance and operations data in Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio so you can compare forecast and ledger.
The REST API, using an external ID field so one upsert call creates or updates a record by your ERP’s own customer number, with no lookup call first.
The Composite API bundles related requests into a single call and supports up to 25 subrequests.
Bulk API 2.0 for migrations and nightly loads, where one job moves many records instead of one call per record.
Platform Events or Change Data Capture, delivered through the Pub or Sub API, so Salesforce tells your system instead of your system asking every minute.
Use middleware such as MuleSoft, Celigo, or Boomi so no link depends on another, and Salesforce stops being the hub of a tangle.

Salesforce measures API usage on a rolling basis of 24 hours. In an Enterprise Edition organization, we have 100,000 requests plus 1,000 per Salesforce license. So an organization with 50 licenses has 150,000 requests per day, which is less than 2 requests per second. In the case of Unlimited or Performance organizations, the requests per license are 5,000. Requests lasting more than 20 seconds are limited to 25 at any time, while those lasting more than ten minutes are terminated.
Access rules changed too. Since Spring ‘26, Salesforce turns off creation of new Connected Apps by default, and new integrations are expected to use External Client Apps instead. Existing connected apps keep working, and Salesforce is also phasing out the legacy SOAP login call. We build every new integration on an External Client App with its own integration user and the narrowest permissions that do the job.
Let us know what sources the data in your CRM system comes from and where you need to be able to pull data out of. We will outline what is best for each and how to do it.

PenguinPeak Technologies is a software company where integration, web, app, and marketing teams work side by side.
Salesforce integration connects your Salesforce account to systems that generate or use customer data, including ERP, accounting systems, e-commerce platforms, marketing systems, and support systems. Information flows through Salesforce’s API either at set intervals or when something changes. We want a single customer record that everyone- sales, finance, and support- agrees on, with invoices and payments visible in the customer account rather than in any other system.
The cost depends on the number of systems involved, the logic between them, and the volume of data flowing. The pre-built connector is the least costly up front, the middleware solution has a license fee that scales with volume, and the up-front strategy is the most expensive initially, without per-operation fees. Costs for the Salesforce licenses are a separate matter. Then we provide an estimate based on our quick review of your environment.
For Enterprise Edition organizations, there are 100,000 API requests available during each rolling 24-hour period plus 1,000 requests per Salesforce license. More requests are available in higher-priced editions. In addition, production organizations can have a limit of 25 parallel requests that exceed 20 seconds, and any attempts to make additional requests will result in a REQUEST_LIMIT_EXCEEDED error. Your chatty integration will run out of its API allowance before lunchtime.
No. MuleSoft fits well with big estates with lots of systems and shared services, but it’s not mandatory. Salesforce integration providers use direct API calls or iPaaS, which is lighter and cheaper to purchase and manage. We recommend MuleSoft only when the number of connected systems justifies the cost.
We will use OAuth with an External Client App, as Salesforce no longer allows creating Connected Apps by default in Spring ‘26. The integration will run under a user account with the minimum necessary permissions; credentials will never be embedded in code, and transmission will be secure. We will keep the failed messages in the queue, log all changes, and not lose anything. All our development happens in the sandbox.
It typically takes only a few weeks to implement a single process like closing won deals into one ERP system. Multiple system integrations, custom objects, approvals, or migrations take a few months to complete. Most of the effort is involved in the mapping and testing of these processes. The estimated time frame is provided after reviewing your organization and its environment.
