Acumatica Integration Services That Fit Your License and Your Team

Month-end is here, and someone still has to enter orders from the online store manually into Acumatica. Someone is asking the IT department why the ex-employee can log in. A third person wants to know why the numbers in the Salesforce database and the accounts ledger don’t match. This is no fault of Acumatica. It is a connectivity issue, and PenguinPeak Technologies fixes all such connectivity issues. Acumatica is the robust base built in 2008 and serving over 10,000 customers, per EQT’s 2025 declaration.

Where We Connect With Acumatica

Connecting With Acumatica Through APIs

Just about anything connects through the contract-oriented REST API. Reporting uses OData, while timely events make use of webhooks and push notifications. We pick the right tool for the job based on its purpose, and protect it with OAuth instead of someone else’s password.

Salesforce and Acumatica on the Same Page for the Customer

The sales rep closes the sale, and the accounting department creates the invoice, but both use the same customer information. It is clear whose responsibility each field is, and quotes, orders, and balances stay up to date.

Using AI in Acumatica

Models excel at interpreting supplier invoices, routing customer service tickets, and detecting suspicious expenses. Our models connect through the AI Studio portal available in your instance, but we add one manual check before we put it on our books.

Acumatica Login: One Portal, Securely Locked

Each company accesses Acumatica through its unique website address. With single sign-on through your IDP, employees need only one password, with fewer password resets and fewer places to store passwords.

Employee Logins, First Day to Last

Your Acumatica login needs to depend on your HR profile. As soon as your new hire logs in, moves to a different team, or leaves your company, their Acumatica access rights change automatically without any Excel reminder.

Your Acumatica Licensing Primer, Decoded

Tier, number of API users, and request rate: we cover these first and build around them so a crafty integration never frustrates you.

Online Stores, Payroll and Banks

From Shopify orders and marketplaces to payroll journals and banking feeds, everything lands into the books. Regional regulation goes in from the get-go.

What Makes Us Different

Many companies can transport data from point A to point B. However, only a few will tell you why the refund got posted to the wrong accounting period. Our approach is grounded in accounting principles, and we extend it to other areas.

We complete security configuration before data mapping. We create service users and least-privilege access. The documentation for the integration comes with the integration package. This includes field mappings, an endpoint list, and a runbook for your own developers to follow.

Every market we work with operates in its own way, whether through local currency, regional warehousing, and so on, and we tailor the integration process to each market. If your project takes us outside the back-office world, our web development, application development, UI/UX design, and digital marketing groups are standing by.

What Makes Us Different

Why Integration Systems Slow Down As Businesses Grow

Why Integration Systems Slow Down As Businesses Grow

Acumatica uses licensing based on consumption. You pay for the applications you use and for your consumption; the number of users accessing your applications doesn’t affect the bill. Useful when you hire people. However, less useful if you remember that integrations use the same license pool.

The Acumatica documentation has limitations for users of the web services API, including the number of requests per minute. Making one request per record in the sync process means we’ll hit the limit on Monday morning. We are going to batch requests, queue heavy requests when fewer people are around, and monitor them.

The Login Problem That No One Ever Puts Into Their Project Plan

If you ask who owns the integration account, the answer is often met with indifference. The integration account belongs to a real person, with way too much access, and causes trouble the day that person goes on leave.

We create a separate service account for each connection and give each one only the access it really needs. Roles align with job responsibilities; for example, an accounts payable clerk gets only the access accounts payable requires. The audit trail shows whether a person or the system made a change to the accounting ledger, and auditors appreciate that.

Frequently Asked Questions

Handling the back-end of your company. Acumatica supports finance, distribution, manufacturing, construction, project accounting, field service, and commerce, all in one data set. Instead of re-entering numbers across platforms, teams work with the same numbers in real time. Small and medium companies that plan to expand their staff and number of locations choose it most often, since user licenses don’t exist here. PenguinPeak integrates Acumatica with CRMs, warehouses, and payroll.

There is no single number. Instead of charging per user, Acumatica charges based on the applications used, the consumption tier required, and the deployment method, which is complemented by the partners’ prices. The best approach is to contact the Acumatica partner and request a quote. If you have many integrations, mention that early in the discussion, because traffic may affect the tier. PenguinPeak can review your licensing guide and find potential cost issues.

Both of those in their own way, actually. Acumatica is a cloud ERP solution, and customer management is part of that, along with leads, opportunities, cases, finances, and inventory. One organization uses all of that, while others use Salesforce for the front end and Acumatica for the back end. Both systems work as long as one of them is the master of customer information. Deciding early which system will be the master will eliminate issues of duplication and misalignment. PenguinPeak is happy to assist in that process.

Vista Equity Partners. It acquired the company from EQT in a deal announced in 2025, after EQT had been the investor since 2019. The change in ownership doesn’t change how your integrations work today, but roadmaps might vary going forward. That’s why PenguinPeak relies on Acumatica’s public APIs for future-proofing.

From a categorization standpoint alone. In that sense, both are ERPs, but SAP is for larger companies, while Acumatica is for smaller and mid-sized companies that want to deploy their ERP through a flexible cloud platform. The key factors are budget and employee count.

The target market includes small- and medium-sized companies in distribution, manufacturing, construction, retail, professional services, and field services. EQT’s customer base is estimated to exceed 10,000 worldwide by 2025, acquired through channel partners. Companies that require numerous casual users, like warehouses and field workers, find it easier.

Cloud-based ERP. It was designed for the cloud from the start. Users log in to Acumatica via a browser at their company domain, with deployment options that vary by edition. Open APIs allow integration with other systems.
